Coir logo doormats create a new twist on the traditional welcome mat solution. Manufactured using fibres from the coconut palm, coir mats are extremely hard wearing and versatile. A perfect solution to areas of high footfall, our graphic inlay coir logo mats ensure that your chosen design will create a high visual impact on your visitors while providing protection for your floors by trapping dirt.

We manufacture our coir logo mats using a graphic inlay process. To do this we first digitise your design to create a pattern, in fact a number of patterns for each colour element of your design, each colour element is then cut either by hand or automatically depending on the complexity from appropriate rolls of coloured coir. With all the components cut, the parts are then put back together by skilled crafts men to form the finished coir logo mat.

Mat Creations can produce your coir logo mat from almost any artwork or original images. We can take your design from electronic or hand-drawn images. We can even re-create your letterhead or business card design!

Our coir logo mats create a fully printed appearance through the mat’s bonded PVC backing (meeting BS standard 4700:1972). Far from being a surface print however, the colour process that we use in our manufacturing means that all colours go through the whole bristle to the backing of the mat. This means that the printing is not simply superficial and ensures maximum durability of colour.

In our coir logo mat colour range we have nine available colours to choose from, including: Natural, Grey, Brown, Gold, Green, Blue, Red, Black, Havana and Purple.

In order to maintain the long-lasting effect of your design, the logo and text must be at least ten centimetres from the edges of the coir logo mat. The minimum thickness of any part of our logo designs is ten millimetres.

Coir logo mats are great for picking up dirt and maintaining relatively high water absorbency. Coir is the only natural fibre to resist damage by salt water and is also handy for its scraping qualities.

An added bonus is that Mat Creations coir logo mats are very easy to clean. They can simply be shaken out or you can use a vacuum to sweep up the trapped dirt and dust that is tramped in off the street.

Coir logo mats are ideal to use in matwells in order to avoid tripping. We like to advise that as matwells are rarely perfectly symmetrical, it is recommended that you allow for this fact by ordering some excess matting for each side of the matwell area.
